Daily interview briefing
Every morning Carolyn scans your calendar for interviews, pulls each candidate from Ashby or Greenhouse, enriches with LinkedIn, and posts a Slack briefing with role context, resume highlights, ICP fit score, and suggested questions.
At 8:30am every weekday, brief me on every interview I have today. For each candidate pull their Ashby profile, LinkedIn, and resume, score them 1 to 10 against the ideal profile note, and suggest three questions tailored to their gaps.
Post-interview verdict and ATS update
Right after each interview Carolyn asks how it went, writes the scorecard into Ashby, moves the candidate to the right stage, and drafts the follow-up email so it is one click to send.
After my last interview, ask me for a verdict, write my feedback into Ashby in the scorecard format I use, move the candidate to the next stage, and draft the follow-up email for me to approve.
Interviewer feedback chase
Carolyn watches the interview panel for every candidate and pings each interviewer in Slack DM if their scorecard is still missing after 24 hours, escalating only when needed.
For every candidate interviewed in the last 5 days, check Ashby for missing scorecards. DM the interviewer politely once, then nudge again in 24 hours. Surface anyone who has ignored both nudges.
Resume scoring against your ICP
Point Carolyn at any inbound resume batch from Paraform, Ashby, or an email forward. She scores each one against your ideal profile and returns a ranked list with a one-line reason per score.
Score the 14 new resumes in the Eng Hire pipeline against the ideal profile note. Rank them, give a 1 to 10 score, and explain the score in one line each. Flag any I should review personally today.
Pipeline hygiene sweep
Once a week Carolyn walks the pipeline, surfaces candidates stuck between stages, candidates who never got a follow-up, and interviews that happened with no recorded outcome.
Every Friday, find candidates in Ashby who have been in the same stage more than 7 days, anyone interviewed in the past 10 days without a logged verdict, and anyone we replied to but never moved forward. Post a tidy report in the recruiting channel.
Visitor and scheduling helpers
Carolyn handles the boring scheduling and visitor tasks around the interview loop: registering candidates in office visitor systems, sending the right Calendly or Ashby scheduling link, and reminding interviewers the night before.
When a candidate is scheduled for an onsite, register them as a visitor in the office system via browser, send the interviewer panel a Slack reminder the night before, and confirm parking and arrival instructions with the candidate.

What to know before you deploy
How does Carolyn know what a strong candidate looks like for my role?
You teach her once. Drop your ideal profile and screening rubric into a skill note, walk her through a few candidates you liked and rejected, and she will apply that judgment to every resume and interview from then on. You can refine the skill at any time and every future scoring will use the latest version.
Does Carolyn work with Ashby and Greenhouse?
Yes. Carolyn reads candidate profiles, interview panels, scorecards, and stages from Ashby or Greenhouse, and writes feedback and stage changes back. If your team also sources through Paraform, JuiceBox, or LinkedIn she can pull from those too.
Does she send emails to candidates automatically?
By default Carolyn drafts every candidate-facing email and waits for you to approve. You can give her full send authority for routine confirmations and keep approval gates on rejections and offers. The access control is granular.
Can my recruiting team chat with Carolyn in Slack?
Yes. Carolyn lives in Slack as a real teammate. Recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers can DM her, mention her in a channel, or reply in a thread. She joins interviews on Google Meet or Zoom as a note-taker when invited to the calendar event.
What if my sourcing tool does not have an API?
Carolyn has a real browser. For tools without an API, like some sourcing platforms or office visitor systems, she signs in once with saved credentials and operates the UI the same way a recruiting coordinator would.
How long does setup take?
Roughly 30 to 60 minutes for the first usable version: connect Ashby or Greenhouse, connect Slack and your calendar, drop in your ideal profile note, and turn on the daily interview briefing. Heavier workflows like resume scoring at scale and pipeline sweeps come online in the first week.
